Waitangi Day holiday

Kia ora,

We're taking a break on Monday, 6 February, to celebrate Waitangi Day.

The beautiful and historic Otakou Marae will again host Ngai Tahu's formal Waitangi Day celebrations this year. Everyone is invited to attend the celebrations, which begin with a powhiri at 10am. There'll be kai (food) and entertainment from 11.30am-3.30pm.

Otago Regional Council will run free buses from Dunedin to Otakou in the morning, and home again in the afternoon.
