COVID-19 Alert: Walks suspended

COVID-19 Alert: Walks suspended

14th August 2020
Keep cool, but care.
Keep cool, but care.

We regret to advise that all City Walks tours have been suspended, until further notice.

We will not operate walks until all of NZ is back down to COVID-19 Alert Level One. At this stage, it seems likely that this will not happen before Thursday 27 August, but we'll keep you posted.

Our view is that guided walks ought to be engaging, intimate experiences. They involve close contact between the guide, customers and passersby, through public and private spaces.

We do not feel that we can safely manage the physical distancing, contact tracing, touch points etc. to the degree required beyond Alert Level One. We will not run the risk of causing harm to our customers, or to our local community, partners or potentially vulnerable others.

We trust that everyone in NZ will do the right thing, so that we can all get back to work again. Meantime, we're on hand to field your enquiries. Thanks for your interest in City Walks.

Keep cool, but care!
