City Walks is Qualmark 'Covid Clean' approved. Click the link below to see what this means.

Regular City Walks tours are not offered when Dunedin sits above Covid-19 Alert Level One. We cannot in good conscience guarantee an engaging tour experience AND observe the mandated safety protocols at settings above that. We've taken this decision to protect you, ourselves and the community we live and work in. We will offer walks again soon, after pending announcements regarding New Zealand alert levels. Our decisions will also take into account the alert-level settings in other parts of New Zealand.

When walks do restart, customers will need to scan the City Walks QR code or enter contact details (time in, time out, name, phone number and/ or email address) into our manual register. These contact details will remain confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than reporting to health authorities should the need arise.

Before the walk, customers will be asked to declare if they have Covid-19, or Covid-19 symptoms, or if they've had contact with anyone with Covid-19 within the last fortnight - or been to any 'locations of interest' at relevant times. If the answer to any of those questions is 'Yes', folks cannot join the walk. We'll suggest they isolate and contact their GP or Healthline (0800 358 5453). Walkers will also be asked to contact us should they fall ill within a fortnight of doing a City Walks tour.

Hand sanitizer, wipes, masks and gloves will be made available to those who request them during walks.

Athol has had his first Covid-19 jab; his second is due 4 October, 2021. 

 

Terms and Conditions

Those who book directly with us typically pay at the start of their walk, therefore no penalty applies if tours are amended or cancelled - unless other arrangements have been made. Those who book through third parties are subject to those parties' terms and conditions: typically tours may be amended or fully refunded (minus agents' fees) up to 24 hours prior to tour departure. No refunds will be issues thereafter. If you have any issues, please talk to us.
